Our client, a leading tele-communications company, is urgently looking for a courier/driver.
Applicants must:
1. Facilitate the movement of people
and documents by
* delivering /collecting mail,
documents etc. on foot or by car,
* transporting personnel &
equipment as requested, and
* undertaking daily deposits and
banking transactions as requested.
2. Contribute to proper maintenance
of the vehicle by
* carrying out daily maintenance
checks,
* arranging for repairs,
* ensuring the vehicle is kept
clean and roadworthy and
* reporting accidents, break-downs
and mechanical problems.
3. Maintain relevant data on the
vehicle by
- logging of visits to customers, suppliers & financial institutions
- recording mileage, petrol consumption, etc.
4. Support the Company by performing
all other related duties that become necessary from time to time.
Major Performance Indicators
* Consistency and care in daily routine maintenance.
* Vehicle maintained in tidy and road-worthy condition.
* Care in operation of vehicle so as to reduce accidents, breakdowns etc.
* Courtesy to passengers and road users.
* Driving behaviour consistent with rules of road safety and regulations.
Authorities
* Refuel vehicle as needed at
approved gas stations.
Required
Qualifications/ Experience
* A minimum of two O’Level /CXC
passes, including English & Math
* At least three years as a
licensed driver, with a satisfactory driving record.
Competencies/Attributes
* Sound oral and interpersonal
skills.
* Courtesy & discretion.
* Neat, well-groomed appearance.
* Good vision & hearing.
